Willow Springs Township is a township in Douglas County, Kansas, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,409. Willow Springs Township was formed in 1856.[1] It was named after a small watering stop along the Santa Fe Trail.
Willow Springs Township covers an area of 54.55sqmi and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains four cemeteries: Bethel, Flory, Sutton and Worden.
The stream of Chicken Creek runs through this township.
