Murari Lal Meena (born 20 July 1960) is an Indian politician, He is currently serving Member of Parliament, 18th Lok Sabha from Dausa since 2024, formerly serving as a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Dausa Constituency since 2018.[1] [2] He previously served as an MLA from the Bandikui constituency from 2003 to 2008 and subsequently from the Dausa constituency from 2008 to 2013. He is also a former cabinet minister and minister of state in the Government of Rajasthan.[3] Meena had fielded his wife as a Congress candidate against Jaskaur Meena, the BJP candidate from Dausa in the 17th Lok Sabha elections of India, but she lost the election.[4] [5] Meena is considered a supporter of Sachin Pilot.[6] [7] In 2024 Indian general election, Meena is the candidate of the Indian National Congress from Dausa.[8]
