The 1959 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football team represented the Middle Tennessee State College—now known as Middle Tennessee State University—as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) during the 1959 college football season. Led by 13th-year head coach Charles M. Murphy, the Blue Raiders compiled an overall record of 10–0–1 with a mark of 5–0–1 in conference play, sharing the OVC title with . Middle Tennessee was invited to the Tangerine Bowl, where they beat . The team's captains were B. Pitts and Brady Luckett.[1]
